.SYNOPSIS... Subtle monsoonal moisture will provide a slight chance of showers across the mountains and adjacent deserts this afternoon and Saturday afternoon. A trough offshore will keep temperatures slightly below average through the weekend. A ridge of high pressure will expand by next week, leading to a warmer and drier weather trend across Southern California.
